Cyanotype Workshop

Let me introduce you to my dear friend, Cyanotype!
Join me in learning about the history and science behind this process, and have fun experimenting with it yourself. For this introductory workshop, we will be working on cotton fabric. All necessary materials will be provided, but you should bring:
  • lunch / snacks / something to drink
  • small items that are special to you that you might like to work with, botanical materials (I will provide some botanical materials but please also bring your own; we will be making photograms)
  • your creativity : )
I suggest wearing old clothing (no need to dress up!)
You will also learn about World Cyanotype Day, and be ready to participate after this session!
This workshop is appropriate for all ages, so bring the kids!
The event is weather permitting, because to make cyanotypes you need the sun.
Cost: $65 / $50 for museum members
