Exhibit: Devon’s Portrait Studies by Devon Clarkson

Devon Clarkson was born in 1991 in Georgetown, Texas, where he was also raised. His extremely curious imagination enhanced his gift for art at a young age. At the age of seven he drew his first character drawing of Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket. To this day, he has kept and treasured this drawing. His early artistic inclination and aspiration have become fully realized as a career which has brought him recognition and awards.

An intense four year course of study at the Gemini School of Visual Arts advanced and refined Devon’s ability to accurately depict the human figure. Having now completed a multitude of commissioned portraits, Devon’s career in arts has advanced rapidly, as has his reputation, evidenced by a high demand for his art. Each image created by Devon imparts his passionate belief as well as his considerable effort to produce realistic high quality art.

Devon couples accuracy with the technique of oils over fast-drying acrylics, allowing him to complete a painting in a timely manner, an achievement appreciated by clients.
