    Have you ever wanted to be a Texas Ranger? Ever wondered about the laws of the Wild West? Come explore Frontier Justice during Summer History Explorer’s Camp! Explore life as a lawman, learn about historic dueling, and experience mock trials in a historic courtroom. Frontier Justice offers opportunities to learn, play, and create at The Williamson Museum and the Historic Williamson County Courthouse. History and fun will collide through crafts, games, art projects, snacks and stories. This camp is for students entering 3rd-6th Grades! Lunch and Snack are provided. Scholarships are available for first time campers.     The Williamson Museum on the Chisholm Trail and Round Rock Preservation are proud to present our Lunch & Learn Series! Located at 8 Chisholm Trail in Round Rock, the event runs from 11:30 - 1. Attendees will need to bring their own lunch but we will provide drinks. Lunch and Learn at the Williamson Museum on the Chisholm Trail is a quarterly event sponsored by The Williamson Museum and Round Rock Preservation to share the stories of Round Rock's past.   • Free Courthouse Tours

    Meet at the Museum and get set up with some of our wonderful tour guides and take a trip back in time as you tour our historic County Courthouse. Tours start at 1:30, 2:30 & 3:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Tours are free, last about 45 minutes and are handicapped accessible. Please call ahead if you have a party of 7 or more, or to schedule a private tour 512-943-1670. ***No Courthouse Tours 1/18/2019*** School group tours are offered by appointment, please see information on our Educational Programming page. 

  • Outlaw Tales

    Uncover stories of outlaws in Williamson County during July at The Williamson Museum on The Chisholm Trail. Children’s activities on a come and go basis, 10am-3pm, free.
