  • Free Courthouse Tours

    Meet at the Museum and get set up with some of our wonderful tour guides and take a trip back in time as you tour our historic County Courthouse. Tours start at 1:30, 2:30 & 3:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Tours are free, last about 45 minutes and are handicapped accessible. Please call ahead if you have a party of 7 or more, or to schedule a private tour 512-943-1670. ***No 2:30 or 3:30 tours on Saturday, May 19th due to event** School group tours are offered by appointment, please see information on our Educational Programming page. 

  • Legends & Lore: Tales of Round Rock Past

    Gather round and listen to the creepy, bizarre, unusual, and tall tales from Round Rock's past. As the night goes on, you will get to use different paranormal investigation tools and adventure around two of Round Rock's oldest homes to see what you find. Tickets are $25, $20 for members, drinks are included in the price of the ticket. Purchase tickets by calling 512-943-1670, stop by the Museum in Georgetown, or online.

    Come check out our new Cyantope exhibit and make a sun print of your own! This is a free, come and go activity.

  • Salon: June 13

    Topic: Appreciating Art History: Art & Society Speaker: Dr. Karen Pope Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 6:30 PM The Wildfire Restaurant 812 S. Austin Avenue, Georgetown, TX 78626 Note: SEATING IS LIMITED! The Salon is an event where anyone can participate in topical discussions with leaders in the fields of science, history, art, archaeology and technology, among other topics. These monthly talks are typically held in the banquet room of Wildfire Restaurant and promote discussion of diverse topics in an informal community setting.
    Admission is free for the presentation, with refreshments offered by Wildfire Restaurant pay-as-go before and after the formal presentation.   • 2018 Round Rock SHEC Week One

    Round Rock Roundup Come explore Round Rock's history from the earliest pioneers to the cowboying spirit of the Chisholm Trail. Experience a week-long hands-on activity camp at a historic Texas homestead. Complete this registration form and return to Danelle Houck at dhouck@williamsonmuseum.org or 716 S. Austin Ave., Georgetown, TX 78626. Camp Information: Dates: June 18-22 or June 25-29, 2018 Time:  9 am to 3 pm Fees: $150/week or $120/week Museum Members, includes all snacks and meals. Day rates also available. For students entering 3rd- 6th grade Scholarships are available for first time camp attendees.
