  • Free Courthouse Tours

    Meet at the Museum and get set up with some of our wonderful tour guides and take a trip back in time as you tour our historic County Courthouse. Tours start at 1:30, 2:30 & 3:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Tours are free, last about 45 minutes and are handicapped accessible. Please call ahead if you have a party of 7 or more, or to schedule a private tour 512-943-1670. ***No 2:30 or 3:30 tours on Saturday, May 19th due to event** School group tours are offered by appointment, please see information on our Educational Programming page.

  • First Friday

    Stop by for light bites at this month's First Friday! The museum will be open from 6pm to 8pm and unveil our new artifact of the month and latest art exhibit.

  • Hands on History: October 13

    International Music Day was October 1st! Come celebrate by learning abut the historical jug bands of Williamson County and make a musical craft! This is a free, come and go activity.

  • Cattleman’s Ball 2018

    Save the date! October 20, 2018 will be our 7th annual Cattleman's Ball! This year's honoree is Gail "Big Boy" Hester. The event includes dinner, wine and beer, dancing, and live and silent auctions! The gala runs from 7 - 10 pm, at the Sheraton Georgetown. Tickets are $100 per person and tables of 8 are $1000, purchase below: Tickets Tables  

  • First Friday

  • Gault Site Tour

    The Williamson Museum and The Gault School of Archaeological Research are hosting together special tours to Gault. The proceeds will support The Gault School of Archaeological Research and The Williamson Museum.
    Tours begin at 9 AM and last about 2 1/2 hours. Tour price is $10, children 10 and under are free. To purchase tickets, call 512-943-1670 or stop by the museum.  If you have any questions, please email nhewitt@williamsonmuseum.org.
