Rental Options

Rent The Historic Williamson County Courthouse

The Williamson County Courthouse has rooms and spaces available for rentals: the Commissioners' Courtroom, the District Courtroom, a Conference Room and Rotundas on three floors. These areas are available for special events and meetings any day except Tuesday.

How to get started

Please fill out our facility inquiry form so we may better understand your needs and be prepared when we contact you about your event. For questions and to schedule a meeting contact our rental coordinator at rentals@williamsonmuseum.org or Call at 512-943-1670.

Note: Special rates are available for Williamson County residents and non-profit organizations. For rental information, please read the Rental and Special Event Policies and Procedures.

Requirements to book a space

  • Complete an online facility inquiry form.
  • Meet with our Rental Coordinator for a walk-through of the space.
  • Sign a rental contract and provide a deposit in order to reserve a date.

26th District Courtroom

The Williamson County Courthouse

With a maximum capacity of 200 people, this historic room with the balcony is the perfect place for your special day. With the echoes of the past all around you, the space is a unique location to make your own history.

Rate: $150/hour

Commissioners' Courtroom

The Williamson County Courthouse

Planning a sit-down dinner reception or need a dance floor for your next event? Benches in the Commissioners' Courtroom can be moved to create the open space you need. This room, where the county commissioners still meet each Tuesday, includes a small balcony for your use.

Rate: $100/hour

Conference Room & Balcony

The Williamson County Courthouse

The conference room is a wonderful location for a meeting, and includes the use of the North Balcony. The view from here is almost exactly what you would have seen from there in 1911. The long tables, designed by the architect of the courthouse, were originally used as lawyers tables in the courtrooms.

Balconies

The Williamson County Courthouse

The view from the north and south balconies can't be beat - what a great place for a happy hour for you and your friends! The balconies provide a wonderful place to watch the world go by here on The Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas.

Rotundas

The Williamson County Courthouse

The rotundas at the historic Williamson County Courthouse provide a smaller space for an intimate gathering of friends. Ranging from the first floor open area to the second floor rotunda with the south balcony, these spaces may be just what you need for your event.

Planning a large event? The entire courthouse has a capacity of 475, using all of the spaces available along with all of the rotundas and balconies. With a rate of $400 per hour, it is a wonderful solution for your big event.
