DESCRIPTION:Participate in an art competition hosted by the Williamson Museum and have your art displayed in the museum for the month of April. Inspired by the total solar eclipse on April 8\, 2024\, we encourage artists to “look up” for their inspiration\, whatever that may mean to you.   \nTheme: Look Up \n\nAll 2-D mediums accepted\nMaximum size 36 x 36 inches\nSubmission format: .png or .jpeg to kconrad@williamsonmuseum.org\nSubmission fee: none\n1 submission per artist\nDeadline to submit: 5:00 PM March 19\n\nTo submit\, please send a .png or .jpeg of the work\, along with title\, medium\, artist name\, dimensions\, and price (if applicable) to kconrad@williamsonmuseum.org\nApproved works must be delivered to the museum for hanging on Saturday\, March 30\, or by noon on Tuesday\, April 2nd. Works will not be accepted for hanging without a confirmed .png or .jpeg submission via email.  Digital works are accepted as long as a physical print can be delivered and hung on the above dates.  \nMuseum visitors will be able to vote on the artworks from Wednesday\, April 3rd\, to the end of the Spring Art Stroll on Thursday\, April 18th. Winners will be announced Friday\, April 19th via email and social media\, and 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded at the Red Poppy Festival on Saturday\, April 27th at 3:30 PM.  \nPlease send questions and submissions to Kathryn Conrad at kconrad@williamsonmuseum.org. \n
