Light Painting Workshop with Emily Robinson of LightWorx Studio

The Texas Photography Festival is excited to announce a special limited-edition Light Painting Workshop that will take place on Saturday August 23rd.

This workshop is presented by Emily Robinson of LightWorx Studio, who was a Texas Photography Festival Featured Photographer in 2021. Emily creates amazing art using simple lighting tools and specialized lighting techniques to build images in camera without extensive post production editing.

This is a hands-on class, where you will learn the camera settings and creative lighting techniques to add an other worldly feel to your images and is limited to 8 attendees to allow for specialized instruction. You can let your imagination run wild and test a range of Emily’s lighting tools to create your own light painted masterpieces.

Equipment Requirements: You must have a camera with manual bulb exposure setting, a lens that can be manually focused, a way to remotely activate the shutter and a sturdy tripod.

Date & Location: The class is Saturday August 23rd from 10am to 1pm in Emily’s specially built dark studio in Cedar Park, Texas.

Cost: The Light Painting Workshop is $35 per person and is limited to 8 photographers.
