March Salon: Mason Holmes on Memorial Brick Garden in Georgetown

Join us for a presentation by Mason Holmes, the Brick Committee Chairman for the Veterans Memorial Advisory Group(VMAG). He is responsible for soliciting orders for the Memorial Bricks, which are placed in the Veterans Memorial Plaza, located in Sun
City. The Plaza contains nearly 7,000 inscribed bricks, with room for 5,000 more. These honor the soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines, both living and deceased, who’ve served our country from the American Revolution through current day. Any
resident of Williamson County can place a brick, or bricks in the plaza. VMAG sponsors three main ceremonies, on Memorial Day, 9/11, and Veterans day. We include a keynote speaker, and a variety of local groups as co-sponsors.
