This summer, young explorers are invited to step behind the scenes of Williamson County’s Media through the Ages. Through hands-on activities and behind-the-lens experiments, campers will uncover how hometown newspapers, radio pioneers, early TV studios, and even textile-based communication shaped our community’s stories. From creating their own film scripts and designing bold headlines to experimenting with textile media such as printed fabrics, and pattern-based storytelling, participants will experience the many ways people have shared information across time. This dynamic, creativity-sparking camp offers curious kids a fresh, interactive path into both media history and the art of communication.

This camp is open for students entering 3rd-6th grade.

Camp is 9:00am – 3:00pm. Aftercare is available from 8am-5pm for $80. Cost: $150 per week non-museum members; $120 per week for museum members.

*Discounted rates for current members at $50 Family membership or above. Scholarships available for first time campers.
